How to use our Reusable Cotton and Bamboo Makeup Pads
Our Reusable Cotton and Bamboo Makeup Pads are made to last. They contain three layers of fabric, one bamboo and two cotton. The bamboo layer is a charcoal colour, which means its suitable for removing heavier, darker makeup. We recommend using the charcoal side of the pad to remove thick foundation, mascara and lipsticks. The white cotton side of the pad is useful for applying toner or removing light makeup.
Each set contains 10 reusable makeup pads and a washable cotton bag. We advise that you keep your clean pads to one side, and as you use them, place the soiled pads in the wash bag. Once your bag is full, place it into your washing machine with your normal wash. We recommend washing on an ECO setting if you have one, or a maximum of 30 degrees. For heavily soiled pads, use a little soap to remove heavy stains.

Why We Love Our Reusable Cotton and Bamboo Makeup Pads
While we agree that disposable cotton pads and wet wipes are a great way to remove makeup – we can’t comprehend the amount that are carelessly throw away every day. Environmentally speaking, they are a disaster.
According to the Marine Conservation Society, wet wipes have become the fastest growing cause of pollution on our beaches. They litter our coast lines at a rate of 35 dirty wipes per kilometre. They also clog up our sewers, create floods of noxious waste, and also trigger outbreaks of serious allergies. Gross right?! Not only are they non-recyclable and non-degradable, it takes a ton of water to produce each single-use cotton pad, which, unless it’s made from organic cotton, is also grown with pesticides which damage the surrounding environment.
Our reusable alternatives require a bit more care and attention to look after. But if like us you cant bare to add to the destruction of our planet, they’re a no brainer.
